Starlight Princess 1000 demo: free play, 96.50% RTP, 15,000x max win

Starlight Princess 1000 prints the same return with the ante bet on as off: 96.50% and 96.50%, on page 6 of 6 of its rules panel, read on 12 September 2026 from Pragmatic Play’s GBP build. That is the number to lead with because the ante bet costs 25% more per spin, £2.50 on a £2 stake, and the rules describe its effect as an increased chance to hit scatters. Paying a quarter more per spin for an identical long run return means the ante is a volatility choice and nothing else.

The “1000” is the multiplier ceiling. Page 2 lists the possible values on the five multiplier symbols: 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 12x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, 500x and 1000x. Unlike Sweet Bonanza Super Scatter, where the multiplier bomb is confined to free spins, these symbols are present on all reels in the base game as well. The max win is 15,000x total bet, on page 6 and on the base screen marquee, which is a lower cap than Sugar Rush 1000’s 25,000x and a much lower one than Super Scatter’s 50,000x.

How the multipliers combine

Page 2, headed TUMBLE FEATURE. After every spin, winning combinations are paid and the winning symbols disappear; the remaining symbols fall, the gaps are refilled from above, and this repeats until no new win appears. No limit to the number of tumbles. All wins are credited after the tumble sequence has finished.

The multiplier symbols, four coloured hearts and a star medallion, take a random value from the list above when they land. When the tumble sequence ends, the values of all multiplier symbols on screen are added together, and the total win of that sequence is multiplied by the sum. This is the same additive rule as every Pragmatic tumble game: two 1000x symbols on screen multiply the sequence by 2000x, not by a million.

The 15,000x cap does the rest of the arithmetic. A sequence worth 15x bet under a summed 1000x multiplier is 15,000x, and the cap. Above that, nothing more is paid. High volatility games with a cap this close to a single symbol’s top value are games where the cap is a live constraint, not a theoretical one.

Page 3 of 6. Four or more scatters anywhere trigger the round, which starts with 15 spins. During the round, whenever a multiplier symbol lands and the spin results in a win, its value is added to a running total multiplier for the whole round. Every later winning spin is multiplied by that running total as well as whatever new multiplier symbols land. Three or more scatters during the round award five more spins. Special reels are in play during free spins.

That persistent total is what makes the 1000 games different from the base game. In the base game a 1000x symbol multiplies one tumble sequence. In free spins it joins a total that multiplies every remaining spin. The rules do not put a ceiling on the running total other than the 15,000x cap on the win.

The ante bet, in numbers

Page 3 of 6, ANTE BET: the player has the option to increase the bet multiplier by 25%, to 25x bet per winning combination. When the ante is active, the chance to hit scatter symbols increases. The rules do not quantify the increase.

With the return identical either way, the ante is a straight trade: 25% more staked per spin for a higher free spins frequency and, since scatters are the only route into the round, a higher proportion of the game’s return delivered through free spins rather than base game tumbles. For a player who wants to reach the bonus it is a way of buying frequency without a buy button. For a player who does not, it is 25% more stake for the same 96.50%.

Against the other 1000 games on this site

Sugar Rush 1000 is also high volatility, prints 96.53% and caps at 25,000x. Its multipliers work by a different route, positional spots on the grid that build up to 1024x rather than symbols carrying values. Starlight Princess 1000 is three hundredths of a point lower on return and 10,000x lower on the cap. The two games are not interchangeable; the multiplier mechanics are different enough that a player who likes one should read the other’s page before assuming the feel carries over.

What the panel does not print

Hit frequency for the free spins, the probability distribution across the sixteen multiplier values, and the size of the scatter frequency increase under ante. All three would be useful and none are on any of the six pages. Where a review quotes a figure for any of them, it did not get it from the game.

Where this leaves a reader choosing a Starlight Princess

The original Starlight Princess is not on this site yet. Between the 1000 games that are, Starlight Princess 1000 is the one to open if you want the ante bet’s scatter frequency and a multiplier that can carry a 1000x value into the base game; Sugar Rush 1000 is the one for a higher cap and a marginally higher return.
