JetX: the studio says where you cash out is the price you pay

The short version

SmartSoft print JetX's return inside the game, 96.2% to 98.9%, and print how you move within it: the maximum is reached by cashing out at the lowest possible multiplier. The range is not a setting an operator chose. It is a description of how you play.

On this page

JetX tells you what it returns. The figure is inside the game, and so is the sentence that explains how you move around inside it.

The two lines this page is about

From the JetX rules panel, version 2.2.0, read on 24 August 2026: “RTP FOR THE GAME IS 96.2 – 98.9%.” And immediately after it: “THE MAXIMUM RTP CAN BE ACHIEVED BY THE PLAYER WHEN OPTING TO BET ON THE LOWEST POSSIBLE CRASH MULTIPLIER.”

Read those together and the range stops being a mystery. It is not a dial an operator turns before you arrive. It is a description of how differently the same game pays depending on how you play it.

JetX rules panel section headed How do I get the winnings, stating RTP for the game is 96.2 to 98.9 per cent and that the maximum RTP is achieved by betting on the lowest possible crash multiplier
From the gameThe RTP is the second bullet under “How do I get the winnings?”, not under “How is the win calculated?” where a reader would go looking. Read 24 August 2026.

What the studio is actually telling you

Cash out at 1.01x, the lowest multiplier the game will pay, and you are playing the 98.9% version. Hold on for the big numbers and you drift toward 96.2%.

That is worth converting into money. At 98.9% the game keeps 1.1% of everything staked. At 96.2% it keeps 3.8%. The expensive way to play costs roughly three and a half times as much per pound staked as the cheap way, and both are the same game, the same button, the same afternoon.

This is the opposite of how crash games are usually described, including by us until we read this panel. The received wisdom is that cashing out early is the timid option and holding on is where the value is. On JetX’s own account, holding on is the expensive option. The thrill has a price and the studio has printed it.

Two cautions, because this is the sort of finding that gets over-read.

  • It does not make low cash-outs profitable. 98.9% is still under 100%. Cashing out at 1.01x every round is the cheapest way to lose money slowly, not a way to win.
  • The studio states the top of the range, not the bottom. It says the maximum is reached at the lowest multiplier. It does not say which behaviour produces 96.2%, and we have not seen that written anywhere, so we are not going to assert it.

Where the figure is printed, and why listings miss it

The RTP is not in the specification block on the studio’s website alone. It is in the client, two menu levels down: hamburger, then RULES, then the fourth of five collapsed sections, then the second bullet inside it.

The heading above it is “How do I get the winnings?”. The section a person would actually open, “How is the win calculated?”, does not contain the return at all.

That placement is why so many pages about this game say it publishes no RTP. The figure is there. It is filed under collecting your money rather than under what the game costs.

Three ceilings, and they do not agree

The client states three separate limits, in three different sections, and they are not the same limit.

Limit What the client says Where it says it
Auto cash out Settable from 1.01x up to 1000x How to play JetX?
Coefficient Auto collected when 25000x is reached How do I get the winnings?
Max win per bet 10000.00 credits How is the win calculated?
Stake Minimum 0.1, maximum 100 credits How to play JetX?
JetX rules section headed How is the win calculated, stating the minimum multiplier is 1.01x, the max win per bet is 10000.00 DMO, and that the speed or skill of the player does not influence the outcome
From the gameThe win cap and the skill disclaimer sit in the same three bullets. Read 24 August 2026.

Because the win is the stake multiplied by the coefficient, a cash cap converts into a different multiplier ceiling at every stake size. The arithmetic is ours, from the studio’s own figures, and you can check it in a line.

Your stake Highest multiplier the cap will pay What that means
0.4 credits 25,000x Exactly the coefficient ceiling. This is the only stake where the advertised maximum is reachable.
10 credits 1,000x Exactly the top of the auto cash out dial.
100 credits, the maximum 100x The tutorial screen advertises 25000x. At the largest stake the game allows, you can reach one four-hundredth of it.

Two consequences follow, and neither is on any marketing page.

First, the maximum stake is the worst stake for anyone chasing a big multiplier. Staking more does not buy you a longer flight, it lowers the multiplier at which the game stops paying you.

Second, above about 10 credits the auto cash out dial can be set to numbers the game will never honour. Set it to 800x on a 20 credit stake and the cap auto-collects at 500x first. You are not punished for it, the rules say the win is auto collected when the cap is reached, but the setting above your own ceiling does nothing at all.

JetX How to play tab showing three steps, with a 100.00 stake, a 25000x multiplier illustration, and a 10 000.00 collect button
From the gameThe tutorial screen puts a 100.00 stake in step one and 25000x in step two. Those two numbers cannot happen in the same round. Read 24 August 2026.

These are the demo build’s numbers, counted in demo credits. A real casino sets its own stake limits and its own cap in its own currency, so what carries across is the shape rather than the figures. The question to ask an operator is what its maximum win is in pounds, and then to divide.

Nothing you do changes the odds, and the studio says so

In the win calculation section, in the same three bullets as the cap:

“THE SPEED OR SKILL OF THE PLAYER DOES NOT INFLUENCE, OR INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING, OR DEFINE THE OUTCOME OF THE GAME.”

Search for JetX and you will be sold signals, bots, patterns and systems for reading the multiplier history down the left of the screen. The company that built the game has written into the game that none of it does anything. It is the most useful sentence in the client and it comes from the party with the least commercial reason to write it.

Note what it does not cover. The footer of the same panel reads “THE SPEED OF CONNECTION OR PROCESSOR MAY HAVE, OR APPEAR TO HAVE, AN EFFECT ON THE GAME”. Those are different claims: one is about skill, the other about latency, and the second one is real.

The 200 to 300 milliseconds between your finger and the server

The studio is unusually direct about this, typos and all:

“JETX IS A REALTIME GAME, FOR WHICH REASON ACTIONS WITH CAHSOUT BUTTON IS SUBJECT TO DELAYS DEPENDING ON YOU INTERNET CONNECTION, USUALLY AROUND 200-300 MS. WHEN YOU CLICK CASHOUT YOU TRIGGER A PAYOUT REQUEST, WHICH IS FURTHER SETTLED AT THE VALUE OF AN ACTUAL MULTIPLIER BY THE TIME IT IS PROCESSED BY GAME SERVER, PROVIDING THERE IS NO CRASH.”

You are not cashing out at the number you saw. You are sending a request that settles at whatever the multiplier is when it lands, if the round is still running. Spaceman states 100 to 200 ms for the same thing. JetX states 200 to 300.

Which is the practical argument for auto cash out over the button. Auto cash out is a number the server already holds.

What happens when your connection drops

JetX defines a disconnection as losing connection for more than six seconds, and then does something most games do not: it publishes what happens next, in five cases.

JetX rules section on disconnection, defining it as more than six seconds and listing five outcomes depending on when the disconnection happens
From the gameFive different outcomes, decided by which phase of the round you dropped in. Read 24 August 2026.

The two worth knowing:

  • Drop after the round has started, with the multiplier already climbing, and the system cashes you out at the multiplier when the disconnection was detected. You are out, at whatever it was.
  • Drop during the bet receiving phase after placing a bet, and the bet stays in. If you never come back, the rules say the game continues until the maximum win cap is reached and pays you, unless it crashes first, in which case the bet is lost.

Same broken wifi, two different outcomes, decided by a couple of seconds either side of the round starting. A bet placed before a dropout is left riding to the cap. A bet already flying is closed out for you.

If your auto cash out was set, that takes precedence and the bet runs to it. If autoplay was on, it is switched off after the next round.

The two bets, and what they are really for

JetX gives you two independent bets per round, each with its own stake, its own autoplay and its own auto cash out. The interface puts them side by side, both large and both yellow.

The usual advice is to split them: one on a low automatic cash out to recover the stake, one left running for something bigger. It feels like a hedge, and Aviator invites the same move.

It is not a hedge in the sense that matters, because both bets carry the same edge and the combination carries it twice. What it genuinely does is smooth the experience. Given what the studio says about the range, it also does something more specific: the low cash-out half is the cheap end of the RTP and the runner is the expensive end, so splitting is a way of paying somewhere in the middle.

One sentence worth reading twice

The first section of the rules panel, “What is JetX?”, contains exactly one line:

“JETX IS A GAME FROM SMARTSOFT WHERE YOU CAN QUICKLY AND EASILY WIN MONEY.”

That is the studio’s own description of its flagship, inside the product, above a panel that goes on to state a return under 100% and a rule that nothing the player does affects the outcome. We report it because it is there, and because the rest of the same panel is the most honest documentation of any crash game we have read.

What to check before you play it

  • Decide where you are cashing out before the round. On the studio’s own account that decision is what you are paying, not just how it feels.
  • Ask the casino for its maximum win in pounds, then divide by your stake. That, not the 25000x on the tutorial, is the highest multiplier that can pay you.
  • Do not raise your stake to chase a big multiplier. A bigger stake lowers the multiplier the cap will pay.
  • Use auto cash out rather than the button, because the button is a request that settles 200 to 300 ms later at whatever the number has become.
  • Treat the multiplier history as decoration. The studio has written into the game that speed and skill change nothing, and the colours only tell you whether a round beat 1.5x.

Common questions

What is JetX's RTP?

The game states 96.2% to 98.9% in its own rules panel, under "How do I get the winnings?". It is a range rather than a single figure, and the studio says the top of it is reached by cashing out at the lowest possible multiplier.

Does cashing out early really give a better RTP?

That is what SmartSoft print inside the game: the maximum RTP is achieved when betting on the lowest possible crash multiplier. It does not make the game profitable, because even 98.9% keeps 1.1% of everything staked.

What is the maximum win on JetX?

The client states a maximum win per bet of 10000.00 credits in the demo build, and separately that the coefficient is auto collected at 25000x. Whichever is smaller for your stake is the one that applies, and above roughly a 0.4 credit stake that is always the cash cap.

Can JetX crash at 1.00x?

Yes. The studio's specification states the explosion can occur at any multiplier, even as early as 1.00x, which is an instant loss. The lowest multiplier the game will pay is 1.01x.

Does a JetX strategy exist?

Not one that changes the odds. The rules panel states that the speed or skill of the player does not influence or increase the chances of winning, or define the outcome. Where you cash out changes what you pay, which is a real choice, but it is a choice about price rather than a way to beat the game.
