What the five 99% games have in common

Not a theme, not a mechanic, not a release year. Speed.

A slot spin runs its animation and resolves once. A Plinko ball drops, and in auto mode the next one is already falling. Rocket Dice settles the instant you press the button. These are the games in the catalogue built to be repeated fastest, and they are the ones carrying the thinnest house edge.

That is worth stating plainly rather than darkly, because a 1% edge really is a better deal than a 3% one. But the number that decides what an evening costs is the edge multiplied by how many times you stake, and only the first half of that is printed anywhere. A studio can price its quickest product at 99% and still take more per hour from it than from a 96% slot.

Where the slots actually sit

Of 243 BGaming slots in the catalogue, 54 carry a return in it. Those 54 run from 94% to 97.37%, and only three of them reach 97.3% or higher.

Scratch Alpaca at 90% is four points below anything else in BGaming’s own catalogue, and more than five points below the lowest return this site has read from any studio. It sits in the same catalogue as the 99% pegboard. Nine points of spread inside one company is worth knowing before you assume a studio has a house style.

A catalogue blank is not a refusal

Ten BGaming crash games appear in the licensed catalogue. None of them carries a return in it. Three mine games, likewise none.

It would be easy, and wrong, to write that up as a studio hiding its crash prices. We checked, because we made a version of this mistake before.

BGaming’s own website publishes a return for the crash games the catalogue leaves empty. Space XY states 97%. Aviamasters states 97%. Both were read on their product pages on 24 August 2026. The blank belongs to the distribution catalogue, not to the studio.

That is a real difference from SmartSoft, whose own site carries thirteen crash games with one filled-in specification between them. Two studios, the same empty column in the same catalogue, and opposite answers when you go and look. The catalogue is not evidence either way, which is the whole reason we open the games.

Two ceilings, and only one of them is advertised

Space XY publishes a maximum multiplier of x10,000 and a maximum win of €250,000.

Those are different limits and they do not both bind at once. At a €25 stake, x10,000 is exactly €250,000, so the two agree. Stake anything above €25 and the win cap arrives first: at a €100 stake the most the game will pay is x2,500, whatever the multiplier on screen says.

Aviamasters shows the same structure with the numbers reversed. Maximum multiplier x250, maximum win €250,000, which means the cap only starts to matter above a €1,000 stake and the multiplier is the real limit for everyone else.

This is the same arrangement we read inside JetX, where the studio prints a win cap that converts into a different effective multiplier at every stake size. It is not unique to one company. It is how this format is built, and the headline number is always the flattering one.

Both figures are stated by BGaming in euros. €250,000 is about £214,000 at the rate we recorded on 21 August 2026. We convert rather than restate, because the studio’s own limit is the euro figure.

The company

BGaming describe themselves as “a creative and fast-growing iGaming content provider”, headquartered in Malta with development offices in Poland and Georgia. The brand made its debut in 2018, on work the company dates back to 2012.

They hold a Malta Gaming Authority business-to-business critical gaming supply licence, MGA/B2B/785/2020, issued on 18 March 2021, and list testing by BMM Testlabs and iTech Labs.

Their site claims “250+” games. The catalogue licensed to this site holds 293 of them, so for once the marketing number is the conservative one.

Provably fair is a real part of the offer rather than a badge: Plinko’s product page states that the game runs on provably fair technology, with unique server and client seeds letting a player verify each round. As we said on that game’s page, that settles whether a round was tampered with after it began. It says nothing about the price, and the price is the 99%.

What to check before you play a BGaming game

• Check the casino’s own game information for the return, not the studio’s. A published figure is the studio’s build; operators run what they license.
• Do not carry a figure across a series. Plinko, Plinko 2 and Plinko XY all state 99%, but Football Plinko, Plinko 2 Halloween and Sugar Plinko carry no figure in the catalogue at all. Same shelf, same studio, different disclosure.
• Read the max win and the max multiplier together. Whichever is smaller for your stake is the one that applies, and it is usually not the one on the poster.
• Treat 99% as a price, not a promise. It is the best price on this site and it still keeps a penny in every pound, every time, for as long as you keep going.
